2020 Calendar Year is New!
We can all acknowledge that the 2020 year is upon us. The calendars have been in stores for a few months bearing the 2020 year. But is it really a new year?
I recently heard a quote that said “While the calendar gives us a physical new year, it is up us as individuals to actually make it new”. There is an awful lot of truth to that statement. If we keep doing what we have been doing, but expect different results, we will be disappointed.
There will be undoubtedly be days in 2020 where we feel knocked down and beat up. Storms will come. But, how we approach those storms and Who we trust in those storms is what will get us through. Trust God. Keep growing.
Fun Adventure: Squirrels in the Trash Cans
If you look closely, you can see that the squirrels have literally eaten holes into the lids of the trash cans.
The following result was the the trash was repositioned inside the can and the lid was raised. Then, the trash was tossed on the ground by these handsome little fellas. In November, these same guys carried an entire pumpkin carcas off the front porch after it was carved by the kids.
Today, because the squirrels had put trask on the ground and opened the lid, the racoons have decided to now join the ruckus because their tracks are on top of the can lids now too.
More to follow on this story. I have a sneaking suspicion that this caper may be just beginning.
